Improved hearing
Pre-Jodi, I never noticed the little noises, like the clank-clank of the now turned-off ice maker, how loud a telephone ring really can be or the incessant barking from nearby dogs that inspires my dogs to howl along.
Having a kid was like having a hearing aid installed.

Trish Caldwell, an Ocala native, has been a stay-at-home mom since her daughter, Makily, who has special needs, was born in 2004. Trish has a background in pediatric medical care and she loves working with children. She and her husband, Allen, are licensed foster parents for babies ranging from newborns to 2 years old.
